The Cashel Palace Hotel is inextricably linked to the world famous Guinness Brewery. In the 1740’s Richard Guinis, father of Arthur, provided the Archbishop with his own stout, “the Wine of Ireland”.
The descendants of Richard Guinis’ hop plants are still tended in the Palace gardens. We are proud of this ancient connection with a Brewery, which has become synonymous with everything that is Irish, hence we have named our bar “The Guinness Bar”. Denis renowned and resident barman for 40 years delights in story telling and song not to mention tutoring you in the finer points of sampling a pint of Guinness.
An appetising and delightful menu is available throughout the day until 9.00PM
