The Cashel Palace Hotel owns the fishing rights on two stretches of the finest Trout fishing rivers in Ireland, The Suir and The Aherlow. Both rivers, particularly the Suir also have good Salmon fishing. The hotel has its own appointed professional Ghillie (Fishing Guide) Mr. John McGrath who will meet you at the Hotel and take you to the best stretches of the river on the day and ensure a successful day to all guests He is also available for fly casting tuition both single and double handed. He will also provide tackle & equipment if necessary, and any relevant permits at an additional cost.
Packed Lunches can be provided by the Hotel.
John charges €100.00 per day plus €20 per additional person.
